    Boss cd/dvd receiver This was a great product at first. The system still works but after 4 months the motor or something when out in it not allowing the dvd to come out also it want let me eject or put cd's in the system anymore. The radio still works and for now i'm using the mp3 device thats hooked up to the radio to play my music off of since i cant put any cd's or dvd's in there.
    works good minor annoyances instalation was easy although all the wires made it a little bulky to squeeze in the dash. has a huge wiring harness and then extra wires too. The remote seems to be a lil difficult to use. I had to press the buttons a few times and really hard to make them work. It may just need a new battery though. The touch screen seemed to need to warm up before it would work all over. the setup wasnt hard but a little annoying because the clock kept resetting itself to military time. When I put in a dvd the screen closed to viewing level but then opened back up all the way when the movie started playing. Apparently that's the default setting for some odd reason. if you touch the screen the menu will pop up and on the right side there are 2 arrows. touch the top arrow to adjust the screen. after that it remembered where I wanted the screen and it hasn't been an issue. The sound quality was really good especially for just having the stock ford speakers in my truck.
    One Year on the dot! I brought the Boss BV8970 InDash 8 DVD/MP3/CD Receiver with USB SD Card and Front Panel AUX Input last year and one year to the day of purchase the dvd player stopped working. I called the warranty number and after reading the 3 year warranty card hung up the phone. To have to pay 15 bucks to send this back to the company for repairs is bad service to me. I will make better time buying a new totally different unit and having it installed and having the old one removed. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE! The sd card slot does not work and it just has too many problems to list.
    it's not about the size it's how it works i like the size of it and video is nice but it has poor sound feed and my stock radio was much louder. I've had mine for about 8 months now and my volume button is already starting to get stuck.
    not had good luck with it I have had it for a while now and the dvd function works intermittently. The fm tuner is the worst tuner I have ever had. I didn't even know that at this point in time that fm signals in major metropolitan areas were a concern. I have around 3 channels I can listen to. It is 8 inches and that is about the only thing good about it.
    Boss bv8970 When i first got the unit installed the first day some of the bottons of the touch screen did not work. In particular the bass and volume slide. A month later the dvd player would seemingly have to warm up before it played my dvd or cd. Evenutally the dvd player would not play my dvds at all. The radio stations would tune in for about 20 seconds and then the frequency would be lost. this would go away and come back finally fed up with the problems i am sending the unit in to california for repair. Hopefully this doesnt happen again. Today i went to bestbuy to get the unit taken out and they told me that BOSS was a flea market brand and that these problems are regular with this brand of steros. On the bright side when working properly the unit is very nice and the picture is good as long as the sun is down.
    Great I went to a sound shop and they told me there was not a replacement radio for my Mercedes ML320. I told my son and he immediately found quite a few of them on Amazon. I purchased this radio/cd/dvd/bluetooth player at his suggestion. He installed it for me. He did have to make minor adjustments but this radio is great. The blue tooth for my IPhone is the best I've heard. Everything is great about this radio. I'm sure it does a lot more than I am doing with it now. On top of all that I sold the radio/6 cd changer out of my vehicle for $15 less than the new one cost me!!! It's ten years old! I'm very pleased.
    Quality could be better I purchased this radio because of the large screen the hung down. Because of this it is an excellent fit for my '01 Ram HD truck.Unfortunately after three months the display quit working. Messages to Boss customer service were not returned.A year later the radio still works but is difficult to operate through the remote control only. I'm still looking for a replacement.

    • Good tv radio I bought this radio last year had it put in my 1981 chevy malibu had it for about two months and lost the face changing cars.But let me tell you is a great buy was looking for a tv radio with the face that comes off was just what I was looking for plusa good price. When it was put in my car let me tell u I thought my sounds hit hard before this radio. But really wasn't till Ihad this one put in it had my 3 12 cvrs with a BD 1000 amp and cross over and highs amp slamming.Radio still in car but had to buy a second one because face just as high as buying it all over again will get to play withit some more when I pull the toy back out and will make sure I'll take care of the face this time so I willhave two of these radio's and one face will put other one in my other car. Only dislike is that I thought all theaux cords it came with would have worked with my I phone but have to buy the cord for the phone.
    wasnt very pleased I read many reveiws on this stereo and it all sounded good so i took a chance and bought it. when i got the stereo it wasnt even in its orginal box. it was wrapped n plastic. the parts to lock the stereo in place was not in the box and neither was the warrenty. i did buy it from the warehouse but i figured it would still be in a box and have all the parts. when i got it installed there was no sound. everything else worked. i thought maybe i had hooked it up wrong which is almost impossible since they r color coded and i hadnt. so i had to send it back. i really wished it would have worked. amazon did take it back and refunded my money.

Especially CD's they are superior in my car.MoviesIncredible movie experience 5/5 in a car for sure! You might think you can't get lost in this 7 screen but it's definitely intense. The lights are very dim so it makes it easier to watch.Features Plenty of features. For around 200 bucks you can't go wrong here.Radio Very easy to use radio. The stations will change instantly.ConsRemote Really difficult to use the remote at night. Remote has to be pointing directly at the unit.Also there is no manual volume adjuster. You have to have some skill at adjusting the touch screen volume.Along with that there isInterface Could use some work. Doesn't bother me but the interface options could be easier to use.OVERALL Your getting a heck of a deal!! More than worth it. A lot of higher end ones will cost around 700 or more.
    Awesome product! Love this unit! I installed it into my Chrysler 300 and it is amazing I love the sound the DVD quality is great the controls are fairly simple and the detachable faceplate is a wonderful feature. All the wires were marked this unit came with more than I expected for RCA outs it has a set for Front Rear and Sub to your amplifier. Looks great and sounds great in my car.The only downfall I have is the GUI is not great and there are no more than 3 GUI's programmed.
    Buyer Beware Do Not Purchase This Item As the title states don't bother purchasing this item unless you enjoy returning products. Does not work as advertised the picture clearly shows a bluetooth icon on the bottom row second to right. But it does not have bluetooth apparently the model PTID7002nrb is the one that includes bluetooth yet they use one picture for both products. DVD player did not work at all it would display 'ERR Disc' after trying to load it I even tried a brand new DVD right out of the package only to see the same message. USB flash drive of 8 GB did not work either as the screen would just freeze when trying to load it although the instructions did state a 16GB flash drive would work so I'm wondering if perhaps that's the only size that will work correctly. But I do not have the interest of finding out because I am returning this junk of a product. The only thing that worked correctly was the radio but would get a fuzzy background sound if turned up as was mentioned by a previous reviewer. And also the SD card adapter did work but the display looks like something out of the 80's. David Hasselhoff had a better display in Knight Rider. You get what you pay for so now I'm going to pay a little more for a better system. I should have listened to the other reviewers and avoided this mishap but never again.. AVOID TRUST ME.
    POWER ACOUSTIK IT LOOKS GREAT BUT IT DOESN'T ALWAYS PLAY MY CD'S. THAT IS THE ONLY PROBLEM OTHER THAN THAT IT IS A VERY GOOD ITEM.

    picture is diseving I come to a package at my door and am so excited that it was my radio. Im upset because clearly this picture shows it has bluetooth and if I'm not mistaken i read something about bluetooth. well it docent and I'm disappointed that now I'm going to have to return this item.
    Disappointed I knew I was buying a lower tier stereo when I got this but I took a chance and it was worse than I expected. The screen quality is bad. The video quality is bad. Very hard too see in daylight and not really that much better at night. I pretty much expected it due to the other reviews on here but once I actually saw it for myself I just didn't like it. If you are at all picky about your sound quality and like to have options to adjust it to your liking this stereo is not for you. If you are coming from a stock stereo with stock speakers then you may be happy with this item. I was not and should have known better. Also I thought not having a physical volume knob would be alright but the on screen volume control is a pain. Probably wouldn't recommend this item.Amazon was excellent though. Received fast and the return was fast. This was my first purchase from Amazon and I will definitely be back.
    Good replacement over stock has some minor flaws. I bought this unit to replace the stock unit in my 2002 Audi A6. I was sick of listening to my zune over the fm transmitter and not being able to hear any details of the music.PROS Has tons of nice features and hookups GPS Bluetooth Ipod etc. Nice large touchscreen interface Double Din size single din slot! AUX in my stock did not haveCONS If you turn the volume up about half way on the unit there is an annoying buzzing noise. You can only drown it out with loud music. So far this happens over AUX in only with any device or cable I use. The volume control is awful. While in Aux in mode you have to touch the volume button small button at top of screen then tap or hold a small round + or sign. If you are driving and trying to adjust the volume its EXTREMELY dangerous. The + or button are about 1/4 size on the screen and if you miss them it will exit out of the volume adjustment mode so you have to press the volume button all over again. The only way I have prevented this is to turn the volume half way up when I first start the car then adjust the volume on my mp3 player mounted to dash while driving. I can see no safe way to adjust the volume on this device while driving unless you have a passenger do it for you.All in all this is a great replacement for my stock unit. Its well worth the money and has tons of features packed in. I'm glad I bought this but it could use a few tweaks.

      Love IT! This is maybe the 5th DVD player we got for the kids and this one works great so far. I was worried it would break as easy as the other ones we had but we are happy with the quality.
      Stopped working on 3rd trip look elsewhere Some people love it others hate it. I guess it's a crapshoot with this one. On just our third short trip with this unit it got to the loading screen froze up and never recovered. We tried several different DVD's all with the same result. At one point it played for about 10 seconds then froze and remained that way for the next 10 minutes until I could pull over and turn it off.Absolutely waste of money I would not buy another from Coby.
      Coby Portable Tablet DVD/CD/MP3 Player Black I am unhappy about this product! It has not been working properly like it has a mind of its own cannot run a movie most times for me to watch. I will mail it back for a refund soon.
      Very Good for long trips Just got back from a 10 hour car ride and we wouldn't have made it without the DVD player. I thought the picture quality and sound was good and the car seat strap worked well. You do have to take the player out of strap to change DVDs but thats pretty easy for another passenger to do.
      Coby Portable Tablet We purchased this product for our 2 year old daughter. For the price it is ok it's not outstanding and it's not bad. The video quality is really good and the sound isn't bad either. You need to pull the player from the poor quality case every time you want to swap a DVD I knew this ahead of time but didn't realize how annoying it would be. After less then a month the straps on the case broke off. The DVD player doesn't save your spot so you need to start from the beginning every time you stop the DVD or get out of the car. This is pretty annoying if you are making several shorter trips. For longer trips the player would probably be pretty good but for around town driving it really is a bit of a pain.
      Glad I bought it! I bought this to entertain my child during road trips. I like that I was able to attach it to the back of my headrest. The tablet style worked best for me but may not be for everyone. It included everything needed to install it and charge it. So far it works great and I haven't had any problems with it. My 4 year old can operate it easily.

Perfect to keep little one entertained on the road It's been almost a year since my purchase and I feel more and more urged to write a review to share my experience on the product. This is definitely one of my best purchases and $ spent. Totally worth it!This dvd tablet keeps my 1year old now 2 yr entertained for hours on the road. We took it along with us for a week long road trip and frequently for day trips and it's done wonders to spare us the impossible task to keep the little guy entertained.As far as quality goes I was worried after reading some of the reviews so I bought an extended warranty at my purchase but my player has functioned perfectly so far.The volume of the speakers is perfect too.I also used the player at home sometimes to play exercise dvds. I found the stand at the back great for that purpose.The only tiny negative i would say is it's quite inconvenient to change dvds on the road but then again a dvd lasts about an hour so most of the times you don't have to do it too frequently. Also the carry pouch for the car wore down by now and covers part of the screen. I wish i knew where to buy a replacement one.All in all a great purchase.
      Will Break and only a 90 day warranty Do not buy this unless you like to buy a new unit every 95 days. Unit broke shortly after the 90 day warranty expired. They can't even give a year warranty on this crap. And their customer service is horrible.
      Good Value I am thrilled with this portable DVD player. Easily entertains my 7 yr old on a long road trip. The selfcontained unit is small and easily portable. The headrest mount is simple to use. It does have the draw back of having to remove the entire unit to change disks but for an older child it's something they can manage on their own. Just about everything you need is included except I would recommend purchasing an extension for auto use.I have seen several posts where customers units have quit working but I am not going to make the assumption that this is a poorly made product. I have had one small technical issue.

      • After a year I've had this for a year now and the sound quality is great. They look pretty awesome too many people confuse it for beats. Iff your ears can support the extra large double flange tips they give you 7 sets! try it outthe bass is unbelievable. Compared to my skullcandy's and sony's this is a big step up. It also comes with this nifty case though I don't really use it much. I would use it if only it was a bit bigger or if I had a smaller mp3 player but my iPod touch can't fit in it so there's really no use for me to use that case.
      Don't stay in ears I bought these bc I wanted something better than the earphones that came with my iphone. They are ok while they're in my ears but they constantly fall out. I stopped messing with them after week bc it was so annoying to constantly have to shove them back in my ears. Would not recommend.
      JBuds J4 goodness just awesome. is like having a noise cancelling phone with cristal clear sound. if you are looking for a low cost high quality phone that is the one just almost as good as any monster/beats if you ask me.
      Amazing awesomeness I love these headphones they're amazing sound quality durable and are pretty comfortable. The cord length is very long which is great cause I usually put my iPod in my back pocket. This morning I ruined mine by dropping one bud into a cup of coffee on accident and now I'm very sad. They were red I think I'll get the blue and yellow ones.
      Great fit and good Bass! Surprisingly alot more base than expected but not overwhelming. Good sound for the priceof $20. Would recommend buying on sale definitely worth the purchase. No cracking as base goes up great and good fit for in ear headphones.
      Worst Earbuds Ever These earbuds are great if you like having the inside of your ear shocked as in electrocuted & eventually just stop working.
      Durable as promised The design of these earbuds is a lot more rugged than any others I've found. I went through Lenntek Sonix earbuds VMODA Vobez II earbuds and Skullcandy FMJ earbuds and all were rapidly destroyed. Pretty much the same thing happened each time the joint connecting the wire to the speaker itself frayed and gave out. So far nothing like that has happened to the J4Ms and the joint is heavily reinforced.I should also point out that the J4M's come with a very tough case protected with that armored plastic used by dirt bike riders. It's a bit oversized though and barely fits in my pocket.As for sound they're not the best. The Lenntek's were better and the VMODA's were a lot better. Of course great speakers don't do you any good if the cable is broken.In short if you're looking for a rugged pair of earbuds to cram loose into your pants pocket and purse and won't get damaged buy these. If you want topnock sound look elsewhere.
      Poor build quality would not purchase again I am on my second pair of these headphones and there will not be a third. On the first pair I had the headphone jack broke while they were INSIDE the case where I always keep them when I'm not using them. I had only had them a month when this happened. Amazon was nice enough to replace them. On my second pair the mic stopped working after 2 months. They may use terms like rugged but I don't think JBuds knows what the word means. Spend your money elsewhere.
      JBuds J4 I decided to buy the J4s as they were on a lightning deal for $19.99. I am very glad that I did. I own several JBuds and JLab is a great company to deal with. Register them and if they stop working within a year they replace them with no questions asked.I like the Kevlar reinforced tangle free flat cable because I fall asleep with them on and tend to pull the bud out of my ears. I pulled the wires out on several cheaper ones. They just feel more solid. They include quite a few sizes for the ear piece and a clip to keep them in place. The case is an extra bonus and my IPod Nano 5th Gen. fits perfectly in the case along with the buds.As for sound which should be the first consideration I find them great for all the sounds I run through them highs lows and mid range. I use them for listening to audio books and the spoken word is clear. The other reviews on the sound are more detailed and I would defer to them as they seem more discriminating than I am in their pros. I highly recommend the JBuds J4 Rugged Metal InEar Earbuds.
      Durable ear phones They are duable and sound good. I just find this type of in the ear phones not really comfortable. Would I recomend them? Yes. Would I buy them again? Yes.
