Metra 70 1761 Wiring Harness Speaker I wish these kits included wire crimps

Does not work for SW20/91-94 MR2, The product is of fine quality, and works fine for vehicles it fits i'm sure, but if you own a 91-94 mr2, with the premium sound option, this will not work for you. You can tell by looking at your factory radio plug, if its a 14 or 15 pin plug, this product will not work. If you want to use stock speakers and amplifier, there is another converter available from metra that has the 15 pin layout.
Does exactly what it's supposed to, I bought this harness in order to easily connect a new Sony car stereo to my 1998 Corolla. It fit perfectly, and all of the electrical contacts are good. I simply soldered each wire to its corresponding wire on the stereo's harness and covered the splices with heat-shrink. All of the wires follow the standard color pattern (speaker wires are white, gray, green, and purple, with and without a black stripe for negative and positive; switched power is red; battery is yellow; illumination is orange; power antenna is blue; ground is black). I was also pleased to see that each wire is individually labelled on the jacket.
Works Great, Works great and very inexpensive. The package correctly labels the colors of the wires for an new deck and the factory wires of my 93 camry.
Acceptable purchase, This product worked, maybe not the best quality but works. The instructions on the packaging could be better and definitely the shipping costs should be more affordable. Overall, marginally acceptable.

I wish these kits included wire crimps, These kits are a god send over having to cut out the OEM harness in your car and then try to attach the harness from your stereo. For one thing, everything is color coded and marked on the plastic bag that it comes in (don't throw that away!).

The only thing I think would be a great addition would be to supply crimp connectors (or some other sort of good connector) with this kit to make the install to the stereo wire harness faster. The issue is having the right size and number of connectors.

Even if Metra wanted to keep the cost down and not supply the connectors but they make a secondary connector kit that came up as an "often purchased with this kit" option, it would really be helpful.
Great buy, Wiring harness made the radio install to my 4Runner as smooth process. Directions were great and worked like a chrarm.
Good product, Good product; Fits approximately what it says it will, most of the negative reviews I'm seeing are from people not either not confirming that this is the proper product for their application, or their OEM stereo is an upgraded unit with a separate amp out or different wiring.
Excellent product!, I used this product along with the mounting kit in my 2005 Toyota Corolla S and it worked perfectly. It was very easy to match up the wires with my stereos wires. There was one wire that wasn't used on the harness and it was the orange one with the black stripe. I really recommend this product to anyone looking to do an aftermarket install.
