    • Great Product As I have come to expect Amazon delivered the product well packed and ahead of schedule.I installed the player and everything works perfect. The touch controls are very sensitive but you soon get the hang of it. I guess that's why they call them feather touch controls.The quality of the video is excellent with all the options zoom subtitles etc. like a regular home DVD player. The video out jack is handy if you want to connect another screen.Sound quality and volume are good enough for me but if you want to add extra there are line outs and subwoofer connections.Quality of FM stereo radio reception is good.Only one observation is the detachable faceplate. I have to be much more carefull inserting and removing it than with other systems I have owned.

    Looks good and does what it suppose to I'm not bashing this radio it does everything i want it and has a lot of good features and the price is great but i do not like the pre equalizer setting on the radio i put the bass on negative 10 which is all the way down and it still puts out bass to my factory speakers so when i push my 2 15's loud the bass seems distorted and not as clean as my previous radio i'm gonna put my highs on a amp tho and i'll be content.
    Everything you need affordable price well built & simple I would definitly like to start off with saying that Power Acoustik electronics seems to be making major strides in providing well built functional products at a any one can have one price. There were many affordable options that I explored but I decided due to being in some certain shady Detroit areas alotIMPORTED FROM DETROIT!!!D that I needed a detachable receiver with usb front 3.5mm jack dvd player w/screen and an affordable price. Well I wanted that and got more for around $100. This thing also surprised me with the additional features I didnt need but why not have D? Has an SD slot 16GB tv tuner 200w max speaker output and many little controls to perfect picture audio woofer and others. You can even hook a game console to it. And 1 model up for around 175 i think you can get bluetooth full touchscreen and navigation. Now i did opt for the simple $100 PTID 3600 model but as you can see you get much more. Now I did notice that the sensitized touch controls on the unit doesn't respond to well and i think hear some distortion at high volumes i have high quality speakers and got everything professionally installed but as long as you keep it at a reasonable volume sounds amazing really does but nothing a high quality class d 4 channel amp couldn't fix. Puts out plenty of speaker power if you do not want to get too crazy or expensive. When you use the jack in on the front even if your device is at high volumeit seems to lower sound quality a little I use a Samsung Moment Droid w/ Pandora. MP3 cd's MP3's on SD & DVD's sound crispy. Also just the design just looks a little BLAH and the background and accents for the screen is just plain while its on. But thats kinda what i paid for functional with quality. And I do believe thats what I got.

    Boss cd/dvd receiver This was a great product at first. The system still works but after 4 months the motor or something when out in it not allowing the dvd to come out also it want let me eject or put cd's in the system anymore. The radio still works and for now i'm using the mp3 device thats hooked up to the radio to play my music off of since i cant put any cd's or dvd's in there.
    works good minor annoyances instalation was easy although all the wires made it a little bulky to squeeze in the dash. has a huge wiring harness and then extra wires too. The remote seems to be a lil difficult to use. I had to press the buttons a few times and really hard to make them work. It may just need a new battery though. The touch screen seemed to need to warm up before it would work all over. the setup wasnt hard but a little annoying because the clock kept resetting itself to military time. When I put in a dvd the screen closed to viewing level but then opened back up all the way when the movie started playing. Apparently that's the default setting for some odd reason. if you touch the screen the menu will pop up and on the right side there are 2 arrows. touch the top arrow to adjust the screen. after that it remembered where I wanted the screen and it hasn't been an issue. The sound quality was really good especially for just having the stock ford speakers in my truck.
    One Year on the dot! I brought the Boss BV8970 InDash 8 DVD/MP3/CD Receiver with USB SD Card and Front Panel AUX Input last year and one year to the day of purchase the dvd player stopped working. I called the warranty number and after reading the 3 year warranty card hung up the phone. To have to pay 15 bucks to send this back to the company for repairs is bad service to me. I will make better time buying a new totally different unit and having it installed and having the old one removed. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE! The sd card slot does not work and it just has too many problems to list.
    it's not about the size it's how it works i like the size of it and video is nice but it has poor sound feed and my stock radio was much louder. I've had mine for about 8 months now and my volume button is already starting to get stuck.
    not had good luck with it I have had it for a while now and the dvd function works intermittently. The fm tuner is the worst tuner I have ever had. I didn't even know that at this point in time that fm signals in major metropolitan areas were a concern. I have around 3 channels I can listen to. It is 8 inches and that is about the only thing good about it.
    Boss bv8970 When i first got the unit installed the first day some of the bottons of the touch screen did not work. In particular the bass and volume slide. A month later the dvd player would seemingly have to warm up before it played my dvd or cd. Evenutally the dvd player would not play my dvds at all. The radio stations would tune in for about 20 seconds and then the frequency would be lost. this would go away and come back finally fed up with the problems i am sending the unit in to california for repair. Hopefully this doesnt happen again. Today i went to bestbuy to get the unit taken out and they told me that BOSS was a flea market brand and that these problems are regular with this brand of steros. On the bright side when working properly the unit is very nice and the picture is good as long as the sun is down.
    Great I went to a sound shop and they told me there was not a replacement radio for my Mercedes ML320. I told my son and he immediately found quite a few of them on Amazon. I purchased this radio/cd/dvd/bluetooth player at his suggestion. He installed it for me. He did have to make minor adjustments but this radio is great. The blue tooth for my IPhone is the best I've heard. Everything is great about this radio. I'm sure it does a lot more than I am doing with it now. On top of all that I sold the radio/6 cd changer out of my vehicle for $15 less than the new one cost me!!! It's ten years old! I'm very pleased.
    Quality could be better I purchased this radio because of the large screen the hung down. Because of this it is an excellent fit for my '01 Ram HD truck.Unfortunately after three months the display quit working. Messages to Boss customer service were not returned.A year later the radio still works but is difficult to operate through the remote control only. I'm still looking for a replacement.

      • not up to the satisfaction The CD player does not start right away after putting the CD in the slot. It takes time to read and gives the error message. After repeated attempts it works. The USB port works fine. I am not happy about the product and would like to return the item.
      Horrible. keep away from this product I bought this system worked 4 months get audio problem. No audio like mute. Sent to RMA and received again with same problem. I have to pay for both shipping. Means they just took it and send same unit back to me with out fixing it. What a waste of time and money. I never buy again.

      great product Very good product in its functionality. Although it lacks the equalizer.It also has a very large frame that makes the proper installation and inlay to the vehicle.
      don't buy this this product is not good. i've sent it in to get repaired for a second time for the same problem and i had to buy a new wiring harness for it also. stick with the good name brand like kenwood sony etc.
      ld screen stopped working on the 3rd day after installed the one i bought from amazon has a malfunction. i got it installed amonth later after i recieved it. on the 3rd day the ld screen went out. i wrote amazon about it they said because it had been over 30 days they could not help me. i plan on trying to call the company. everything work fine on it but the screen. i am so disappointed. if you buy this cd player make sure you hook it up right away because amazon will not help you if procrastinate about getting it hooked up.

      product The shipping was great and the product worked fine for the first year then the motor went out on the screen and then the screen went out a couple months later so now it is useless. The EQ doesn't have anything on it but bass and treble no way to adjust it would be better with more EQ oppositions so that you could better fine tune it.

El siguiente reproductor cuenta con todos los accesorios y componentes necesario a la hora de definirse por la compra de reproductor de DVD lo recomiendo OJO solo e visto un detalle y es que cuando tienes enchufado el cable usb al equipo y luego lo prendes no detecta automáticamente el dispositivo USB. Es decir debes retirar el cable y volverlo a colocar. Hasta ahora ninguna falla fácil de instalar.Ojo esta a un muy buen precio.

      Greatly exceeded expectations Incredible product. Simply put. Greatly exceeded my expectations for such a reasonably priced product! It was easily installed. Very user friendly and powerful enough for any sound system. Bluetooth quality is superior to the competition.
      Awsome!!! I couldn't believe the price for what is offered. I was worried that it would be made very cheap. Boy was I wrong this thing is solid! I bought this as a gift for my son and I could not be more happy with it. He loves it and this thing works flawless. It even plays dvd's that you make and write. It does it all! I have used the bluetooth as well and works fantastic. The screen is bright and easy to see and picture is very nice.
      Pay extra = extra quality I typically do not write reviews but in this case I don't want someone else making this same mistake. So here goes I ordered this screen after seeing other reviews of satisfied customers thinking it was a bargain for the price. I recieved the screen on time with no shipping delays of any kind. I immediately unboxed it and began taking my dash apart. After hooking up the wiring harness adaptor antenna and then plugging it in wala! its on but nothing is coming out of the speakers After playing with the settings still nothing. I tried scanning for radio stations and could not find any. I then tried a cd and it worked perfect. Bluetooth seemed to work flawlessly as well. So I then thought possibly my stock radio antennaeven though i tried it with and without an adaptor may be malfunctioning. So I set out to purchase a universal car stereo antenna. I plugged in the universal antenna and still nothing. No sound nor would it even find a station. I then decided to call Planet Audio there response was to try reseting it by pushing a hidden button with a pen tried that reseted itdidnt work either they then told me to just send it back to where I ordered and ask for an exchange. With customer service as simple as just try pressing the reset button No Thanks! I will just ask for a refund and get a better product from a wellknown manufacturer.       NOT iPOD COMPATIBLE I bought this under the impression that it would cooperate with my ipod.NopeI pulled it out and returned it.Everything else was cool the sound quality is great the screen is rad video playback is great blutooth feature works great. It does have programmable steering wheeel options the problem is finding the wires that you need to hook up to their wires. So I guess if you dont want it to work with your ipod then go for it. but the price difference for the upgrade is 20 bucks. I spoke with Planet Audio Tech support which by the way was a joke the guy was a total jerk through email and on the phone and I was informed that I needed a different model this model does not support anything over a 2gb drive through the usb port does not work with ipods and if I want to use my ipod I need to do it through the Aux input which i tried and didnt sound half as good as my stock radio did through the aux.Fortunately Amazon refunded my money and I purchased this model com/gp/product/B004ZGN246/ref=oh_o00_s00_i00_detailsThis model according to Planet Audio Tech support has the hardware needed to support iPods. So hopefully this time I am set.
      Awesome This stereo suprised me I was kinda worried for the price and everything that came with it that it was too good to be true. After I read some reviews and they were mostly good I took the bait. Well first off the install was as simple as just a standard stereo. By the way this is illegal but if you want video while driving for like kids or passanger plice the pink parking wire into the black ground wire. This stereo has a back up camera wire and also has steering wheel wiring on the back I did not expect that. So if you buy this product and see three wires that say key2 and ground1 they are for your steering wheel if you have that option. Well after install it powered right up this stereo has so many features. You can basically hook up anything to it Sd card aux ipod bluetooth cd dvd tv gps. I seen someone say something about the quality of the video as not so great. Well it worried me the whole time I was just down to the saying I guess you get what you pay for The quality was perfect almost as good as blueray. You could think im over exaggerating but It topped it off. The bluetooth is awesome awell can play music from your phone talk to people through the stereo it has a built in mic and can even dial the numbers on the stereo screen no phone needed.
      Great unit Great seller!!! The unit works pretty well seller shipped on time and was happy about that. DVD is good quality very easy to use. Great controls for the money. Bluetooth connects well and makes very clear calls. Would recommend unit and the seller!!! Got a rear view camera and works well with the system installed in my Camry in about 30 minutes. Had to contact the seller 3kingsaudio.com and they were very helpful.
      Planet Audio double din 7 inch screen Had bought the wring harness and dash install kit prior to purchasing the cd player. So that made it a lot easier. Hooked up my wiring harness and everything and would only get power for five seconds. Got my brother to look at it and he couldnt figure it out either. Took it to best buy and was told i needed to run a wire from my auxilary port in my fuse box to my cd player and that made it work. It is reading my cd's as dvd's. Which means i cant listen to cd's while driving which sucks. Gonna figure out a way to change that. Had to run my remote wire from my amp to a wire that said it was only for an electric antenna. Idk but now my amp works too lol. Havent put in a dvd to see how the screen looks. Overally product isnt bad for the price. Would suggest it for 200. But if you do want something very high quality then do not buy this product.I have this cd player 2000 watt planet audio amp and 2 12 inch shallow 1000 watt planet audio subwoofers. Has a lot of power. I am satisfied with my overall system.
      a waste i bought this monitor and it didnt fit my deck. so i went to have it customized nobody wanted to work with the monitor because they said it would break the dash kit. the monitor doesnt fit most dash kits. so i went to sell it to yhe audio store nobody wanted it back.
      GOOD PRODUCT I recommend this to anyone who wish a DVD player. Its just good for the prize saves bulk which could have been spent on the expensive known and big name maker. It was as described. Fit in my Honda crv 2000 so perfectly and very easy to install. Just about 3045 mins..The screen display is as good as other big brand the Bluetooth responded very nicely.

        • Not the best fit for Explorer I had these installed in a 2012 Ford Explorer. The interior of the Explorer is Stone. These gray headrests are much darker than the Stone interior but they do match the headliner and dash trim so it's not that bad. The extra poles had to be used so the vertical adjustment has been lost. The DVD players work well and the picture is quite good. The FM transmitter works but the volume seems low. The headphones work with just a bit of hiss. I have no problems playing DVD's in each headrest or playing a DVD in one headrest while displaying the video on both headrest.My biggest problem with these headrest is the fact that due to the angle of the headrest poles the headrest cushion is very far from the back of my head. There is a bit of adjustability to the angle of the headrest but even at it's most forward position it's still about 10 away from my head. So I am a little concerned on what affects that would have on my neck if I was rearended.All in all the headrest work as advertised. I just don't think they fit well in a newer Explorer.
        Not to sure Well I had these installed so that I wouldn't screw it up myself however now with headphones plugged in you can still hear the video both with the speakers and the headphones. Now if you are not sure about electronics then I think these are not for you I wish I would have gotten something different. Because there is NO website no customer service NOTHING! The box and directions give you nothing. So now I have a set that I have an additional $150 in and I can hear both playing at the same time which is usually 2 different movies. And can't get any sorta support at all. If anyone has any help that can give I certainly will take it.         Great product for the Price
        This is an amazing deal. These units are excellent. I ordered them with Amazon Prime. They came 2 days later. I installed them myself in 1 hour. They work great. Kids love them. They are exactly what we needed. Matched my cars leather almost exactly. Couldn't ask for anything more. I think I will buy another set for the 3rd row. You just can't go wrong with these.
        Good Deal and no issues. I looked for this elsewhere and the price was 500 to 1000 dollars more. It works great and we are very happy with a having a headrest unit as oppossed to strap on units. If I were to say anything negative about this my husband installed this unit himself and said that the install instructions sucked. My husband is very skilled with construction and this type of thing. It took him several hours to install but it would have cost us $1500 more had we had a car installer do it.
        Not the whole shooting match We ordered this product for a countrywide road trip but found time lacking and the installation of this product more challenging than what we had time or patience to go through. So we sent it back. No problems there. The product instructions were hilarious until we realized that was really all we had to go on. The product does not come with the capability to plug into a cigarette lighterwhich was what we were really looking for. We ended up buying cigarette lighter plugs that have USB and standard 3prong plugs so we could plug in laptops.
        Great product Fast shipping. DVD system came with everything that was shown. Installation was a breeze on my sienna and the color match was exellent. Everything works just fine but I've only had them for a month. Comes with a 1 yr warranty but I bought the 3yr warranty on square trade just to be on the safe side. I would recommend it especially when comparing to the price of factory installed systems.
        dvd headrest product review installation is very confusing. written in chinoamerican which you can barely understand. had to pay $180 for professional installation then it broke in about 3 days.summary junk buyer beware.
        Road Trip Heaven!!! I have 4 kids between the ages of 1 and 12. These things have been a life saver! My interior is gray cloth but you really couldn't notice the difference in the leather unless you were really looking for it. They work great so far been about a month.
        works They workbut the instruction manual is horrible.the leather also has a musty odor. Operating games is difficult. Not very impressive.

        Horrible. I did some research and settled on this headunit. I knew that based on the cost i was not getting the ultra high end unit but for what i needed it was perfect.I recieved the unit with very little protection infact amazon just through it in a box with no padding at all. just the device box thrown in a amazon boxI took the radio to a professional install shop I figured with the money i saved on the headunit I would have someone install for me.

        okay for the price A Kid's Review This car dvd is 8 put of 10. I really like face plate that can removedI love that. everything else work okay. i don't like all wire being on the back like you AUX you can't get nothing connect becuase of all the wires being in the way but other than that..
        Not terrible but below average I've had this in my car for two months now. On the plus side DVD playback is good excellent screen good on screen controls. But every new disk you put in it defaults to closed captions being on and there's no way on the screen to turn that off you have to use the remote so keep it handy.On the minus side the USB connector is some incredibly tiny thing and I can't figure out what cable it takes its smaller than the miniUSB maybe its a micro but it looks even smaller than those. I guess the IPOD is supposed to hook through there? Because there is no other port but I've not found an IPOD to micro USB A or B cable for sale anywhere on line.And don't bother with the manual its a pile of broken English that makes no sense whatsoever.Bluetooth worked great on this unit for about a month and then mysteriously stopped working. Go figure.Volume for CD and DVD playback is pretty low I didn't use an amp but will probably have to add one.Oh and one more pet peeve the mute button is right next to the eject and they're all the same size. So you reach for the mute instead you get the CD or DVD ejected and the radio plays.
