    • multifunctional and all needed cables etc. included We have been using this for about 1 month now in our van to complement the old VHS system. The unit came with a surprising number of cables to fit different purposes for installation. Nothing else was needed to complete the install for my application. The remote sensor for the remote control is a particularly nice feature so that the unit can be enclosed within the audio/video compartment in the van but the remote will still work since it has as direct line of site to the remote sensor. Comparitively the remote for the old VHS unit that this DVD player complements requires the cabinet door to be open for the line of site.In my A/V cabinet I do not have access to the constant 12v that is needed for a complete install so wired the constant 12v to the accessory 12v. Since this power shuts off when the vehicle shuts off I thought we would lose the position of the movie but this does not happen. Even completely cutoff from power the unit recalls the play position.Maybe all of this is normal and obvious to someone exeperienced with this type of installation.
    Works good. Installed this in my Z71 Suburban that hauls the family around. We used it while driving half way across the US twice and it works as advertised. A little slow at loading but I have not had a single skip with it even when going offroad. As previously mentioned there is no SVideo output. I wired the entire thing up to switched power and it still remembers the position of the movie. Only thing I have to do is turn up the volume each time. If you need an inexpensive solution then this is it.
    Perfect Conversion Van DVD Player I purchased this DVD player for use in an older conversion van. It has been a great addition. The primary reason I wanted to write a review though was to compliment the company's customer service. I had a question on wiring since the older van didn't have an exact connector for the player. They were very quick to respond and easily reconciled my questions. The issue was resolved and it has worked perfectly ever since.
    not as descibed i just received this unit and haven't even got it hooked up to power and i'm already unhappyproduct description states it has an S vidio output it does NOT also says it comes with cigarette lighter adapter plug..it does NOT..
    DVD Player I received the product promply and the instalation was a breeze. everything works fine. Now I have to wait for Tview to get there act together to send me back my reciever that was defective. All in all very affordable nice piece of equipment.
    It is fine The installation was pretty straight forward wish the manual stated the maximum watt the remote line can handle it would have caused me less grieve.

    • Not the best fit for Explorer I had these installed in a 2012 Ford Explorer. The interior of the Explorer is Stone. These gray headrests are much darker than the Stone interior but they do match the headliner and dash trim so it's not that bad. The extra poles had to be used so the vertical adjustment has been lost. The DVD players work well and the picture is quite good. The FM transmitter works but the volume seems low. The headphones work with just a bit of hiss. I have no problems playing DVD's in each headrest or playing a DVD in one headrest while displaying the video on both headrest.My biggest problem with these headrest is the fact that due to the angle of the headrest poles the headrest cushion is very far from the back of my head. There is a bit of adjustability to the angle of the headrest but even at it's most forward position it's still about 10 away from my head. So I am a little concerned on what affects that would have on my neck if I was rearended.All in all the headrest work as advertised. I just don't think they fit well in a newer Explorer.
    Not to sure Well I had these installed so that I wouldn't screw it up myself however now with headphones plugged in you can still hear the video both with the speakers and the headphones. Now if you are not sure about electronics then I think these are not for you I wish I would have gotten something different. Because there is NO website no customer service NOTHING! The box and directions give you nothing. So now I have a set that I have an additional $150 in and I can hear both playing at the same time which is usually 2 different movies. And can't get any sorta support at all. If anyone has any help that can give I certainly will take it.     Great product for the Price
    This is an amazing deal. These units are excellent. I ordered them with Amazon Prime. They came 2 days later. I installed them myself in 1 hour. They work great. Kids love them. They are exactly what we needed. Matched my cars leather almost exactly. Couldn't ask for anything more. I think I will buy another set for the 3rd row. You just can't go wrong with these.
    Good Deal and no issues. I looked for this elsewhere and the price was 500 to 1000 dollars more. It works great and we are very happy with a having a headrest unit as oppossed to strap on units. If I were to say anything negative about this my husband installed this unit himself and said that the install instructions sucked. My husband is very skilled with construction and this type of thing. It took him several hours to install but it would have cost us $1500 more had we had a car installer do it.
    Not the whole shooting match We ordered this product for a countrywide road trip but found time lacking and the installation of this product more challenging than what we had time or patience to go through. So we sent it back. No problems there. The product instructions were hilarious until we realized that was really all we had to go on. The product does not come with the capability to plug into a cigarette lighterwhich was what we were really looking for. We ended up buying cigarette lighter plugs that have USB and standard 3prong plugs so we could plug in laptops.
    Great product Fast shipping. DVD system came with everything that was shown. Installation was a breeze on my sienna and the color match was exellent. Everything works just fine but I've only had them for a month. Comes with a 1 yr warranty but I bought the 3yr warranty on square trade just to be on the safe side. I would recommend it especially when comparing to the price of factory installed systems.
    dvd headrest product review installation is very confusing. written in chinoamerican which you can barely understand. had to pay $180 for professional installation then it broke in about 3 days.summary junk buyer beware.
    Road Trip Heaven!!! I have 4 kids between the ages of 1 and 12. These things have been a life saver! My interior is gray cloth but you really couldn't notice the difference in the leather unless you were really looking for it. They work great so far been about a month.
    works They workbut the instruction manual is horrible.the leather also has a musty odor. Operating games is difficult. Not very impressive.

    • great buy This was a great purchase on both value and performance. The HD feature is great and came ready to use. Install was a straight forward process.
    Wonderful Upgrade from '05 Pilot OEM system! To be clear up front I am not a huge audiophile. I enjoy good sounding stereos but I don't have the money nor the desire to get 1000+ watt stereos for a car.Before installing this stereo I also had never installed anything electrical in any of the cars I've ownedI've been too nervous about making an expensive mistake to try this before.I got this stereo after researching many double DINsized CD receivers with USB/iPod control ability. This was a very inexpensive set less that $200 that had all the features I wanted. I didn't wantnor did I needa receiver with indash DVD receiver or navigation ability.With a seperate wiring harness I bought one from Metra for less than $10 installation was a snap. The JVC stereo installation instructions are very clearbut I will highly recommend reading through the installation instructions once or twice to get your bearings before you begin installation. I did this very thing and spent more time splicing wires together the wiring harness to the stereo than I did with the actual installation. Most of my time ironically was spent watching YouTube videos on how to solder wires together as I mentioned above this was my first time. It really is simplebut intimidating if you've never done it before.I hooked all of it together with the mounting kit I bought again a Metra kitfabulous! and put the new stereo in my Pilot. The sound is much better than the OEM stereoeven without the OEM subwoofer in the cargo areaand I'm now able to play my iPod/iPhone music without having to worry about constantly finding empty FM frequencies.Some cons1. With this stereo you can no longer use the factory subwoofer without a separate amplifier. I've not found this to be a problem but if you can't live without the subwoofer make sure you get an aftermarket amp.2. I know of no aftermarket stereo that can take advantage of the OEM indash 6disc CD changer. If you own a 2005 Pilot like mine you can order the Pilot LX shelving unit that goes where the CD changer is. Then remove the CD changer and put in the shelving unit and you're good to go.3.
    I love the sound from the HD radio stations. I love the sound from the HD radio stations. It fit in my Suburban just fine. My only wish would be a better buttons. They are made with cheap plastic. I do have a lot of kids so I need things that can withstand a little abuse. It is holding up just fine and sounds great.
    Love it!!! I can't believe how good this thing sounds. I thought I was going to have to get new speakers in my Nissan Sentra. The old JVC radio I had made everything sound so thin and far away. This one is full of punch wonderful separation delicious musicality. It has 18 presets that are easy enough to get to. The first six each have their own button. The HD radio is fantastic in Los Angeles. There are so many commercialfree HD stations that play a much better selection of music than you get on analog radio. I also picked this particular unit because it will remember HD stations that you find. Absolutely love this radio.
    Wonderful Car Stereo I just love this product. For the price it is the best car stereo I have ever owned.
    Fits my 2006 Toyota Highlander Fits great in my 2006 Toyota Highlander with the appropriate trim pieces and wiring harness. I used the Metra 958202 Toyota DDIN Multi Dash Kit to fill the gaps on the left and right follow the directions it was easy just trim the extra back piece off like the document says. And the Metra 701761 Radio Wiring Harness For Toyota 87Up Power 4 Speaker. These two plugs worked great. Not sure what the third connector from my stock radio was for but so far it hasn't been necessary.Trying to figure out mp3 navigation from my USB drive not as trivial as others I've used so far.
    Pissed Off The clock doesn't display when the radio is off!!!The volume for some unknown reason randomly goes to zero while listening to the radio or C D player.I have to keep turning it up till it decides to stay put for a short while.It is a piece of junk!!I don't know who to call since it was purchased from another web site via Amazon.com!!!!!!!Alsothe expense of having it removed and reinstalled is a burden on me I guess.I won't ever buy anything else from Amazon.
    Which Came First the Chicken or the Egg? In preparation for the purchase of upgrades to my car stereo system I've read more product reviews than I care to admit. Folks that have posted reviews tend to attribute the improved performance of their car stereo to the addition of one particular component of their system radio/receiver amplifier or speakers. I guess that if you add just one of these components to an existing system you've got a baseline to assess the improvement or the lack of improvement attributed to a particular component. Me I dropped in all three at once into my '07 RAV4 JVC KWHDR720 receiver SC60 Boston Acoustics component speakers SC65 two way speakers and an Alpine MRPF300 amplifier. Stir it all up and what do you get phenomenal sound at an affordable price. The only short coming is the JVC KWHDR720 receiver. Navigating the menu to setup the receiver is overly complicated. Nevertheless five stars all around. And the review that claimed the Alpine MRPF300 amplifier overheats. Mine stays cucumber cool.
    BEWARE DO NOT BUY Upon receiving this unit I installed it immediately and the radio tuner lasted all of 10 seconds. So I shipped it to the authorized service center at MY expense and received it 3 weeks later. Immediately installed it for the second time and the radio function lasted all of TWO weeks the second time. Now they are telling me to ship it back AGAIN and wait 34 weeks for it to return. This would be a awesome unit if it stayed working. Mine must have been made on a Monday or a Friday. Save yourself the grief and buy something else.
    Everything I wanted Installed this in a Ford Ranger after modifying the radio bevel. This unit works very well and is very easy to use. I really like the ability to change the color of the display.

    • No Resume Feature??? I repeat No Resume Feature??? I contacted Coby []the manufacturer on Jan. 26 2012 to ask where the resume feature that plays the DVD from where you last left off without having to fast forward through the entire DVD program..you know a feature that's existed in all DVD players since the beginning of time!!Got no response whatsoever from Coby. Followed up again on Feb. 13 2012 and said Please answer this question. It's a pretty basic simple question that should've been answered in the user manual. Well here it is March 1st and do you think I've even gotten so much as a your email was rec'd.? Nada. Not a word from Coby. I'm here to spread the word DON'T BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM COBY! REPEATDON'T BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM COBY!! I went to Amazon's section to file a claim and it says oops It's too late to file an Atoz Guarantee claim. Your opportunity to do so ended February 28 2012. Today is March 1st.
    3 months It was OK while it lasted but it only lasted 3 months. Was it worth $20 a month? No. The picture clarity was just OK. It now does not recognize any CD or DVD.
    Great portable DVD Player This is a great portable DVD player at a really great price. I bought it because of past Coby portable DVD Players that have worked well. Also because this player along with other Coby portable DVD Players is region free Has to be activated through a hack which can be found at videohelp.com and look up your player to see if it can be made region free.. Would buy again and recommend.
    Stands up to a toddler!! I bought this DVD player a year ago for a road trip with my then 2yearold son. The controls were easy enough for him to figure out after being shown a couple of times and he loved watching movies in the car. The picture quality is nice and the screen is large enough for our purposes. It's also very lightweight and easy to tote around. This thing has beed dragged to grandma's and used at home constantly for the last year and it is still going strong. He doesn't throw it or anything but he does open it without first pausing the DVD or smack it because it isn't 'working' meaning he doesn't know how to do whatever it is he wants it to do. This is a fabulous player at a good price and if it ever does break I will absolutely buy another.
    Avoid. These are the worst We purchased two of these portables DVD units. Initially thought that the price was fair. Both have stopped working and it hasn't been a full year. The charger cords are terribly designed and the dvd player has ceased to work at all. If we could rate Zero stars we would have. Spend a few dollars more if you can and avoid this company's products.
    Not so portable DVD player I bought the DVD player to use in the car for my kid on long drives. The description or lack therof of the DVD player says that its portable while this is true I would expect it to have a car charger so you can use it while you travel. Without a car charger it is little more than a small DVD player you can drag around your housebut my laptop already does that.However if your looking for an inexpensive DVD player that you will use only in your house or at a restaraunt when you dont have your laptop/Iphone/Ipad or other device that is able to stream movies or play DVDs then this is the product for you.
    BAD DISC a junk buyer be aware Bought it for my parents Used less than 5 times then get bad disc error for any good disk very disappointed for this product will not buy anything from the company any more.
    Awesome!!!!! This thing is sooo cool! The only reason I don't give it a 5 is because i left it outside in my car one time and when i turned it on it was kind of fuzzy After about a minute or two of that it went back to normal! Two people can sit side by side and watch it but for more than that you'll need a bigger screen. It comes with a remote that you won't need A pair of earohones which I recomend tossing out immediately and a wall charger. You need to buy a car charger elsewhere. The battery life is good for about two medium length movies but for a long car ride you NEED a car charger. A little battery picture pops up in the corner about five minutes before it dies.
    Durable This DVD player is quite durable and is not pricey. I had another one older model that was still going strong after 3 1/2 yrs of rough usage and would still have it if my 2 yr old had not broke the cd lid off But we ordered this and it is just as durable as the first. However the only downside to this player is that the sound even when on top volume is not the greatest. Overall I am super happy with this player because it suites my needs.
    Bad Quality This item was a christmas present for my stepdaughters and the have used it for a total of 6 weeks and now it has stopped working! Very disappointed in my purchase. Will not be buying any type of electonics on amazon again! This is my first bad review and hopefully my last. But my return period was up so this was my only choice. Now Im just out the money for this junk dvd player.

    • Didnt work Went through the painstaking task of installing this in our truck having to put wires through the headrest and everything all to where when we tried it with the little one on Christmas morning it did not work. Everything was connected and done correctly.
    OK while it lasts died after 7 weeks This unit looks like it fulfills quite a few requirements inexpensive easyish to install but beware bare wires power input and plays videos well MP4 from disc or SD card. Also has remote and purports to play games which I guess it does but the games are TERRIBLE and you simply wouldn't want to.On the downside this unit lasted only seven weeks until it would not power on at all. Took car seat apart checked connections checked fuse in the power lead attached to car's 12V socket all ok. Unit is just DEAD.Now apparently I can't get my money back from Amazon so I suppose they have a month's warranty? Really? Come on folks that's ridiculous. If I thought it would die after 30 days I would not have spent ANY money on it.Please AVOID these shoddy items on Amazon.
    Nice concept but the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. I actually feel bad about writing a negative review on a Pyle product. In the late '80's when I was working my way through college installing Pyle audio products they always represented a solid bang for the buck and had outstanding customer service. Flash forward 25 years give or take a few and I am looking for an allinone headrest DVD combination for my 5 yearold son and up comes this Pyle product in Amazon's search engine.. fantastic. I place my order and true to form for Amazon the product is shipped quickly and arrives at my house in about two business days.This is where things come apart a bit. The first unit that I received I carefully installed in about an hour in our 2011 Golf TDi running the power wire and ground was the biggest challenge in getting the cable through the back of the seat and down the inside of the top portion to the console and after doing my initial testing it seemed that the DVD drive was dead upon arrival. That in and of itself was not that big of a deal and after a few clicks of my mouse I had a replacement unit sent to my doorstep and since the wiring on the old unit was the same as the new I quickly boxed up the defective unit for the new one.. and it was blissful for the three weeks that it was working in the car.To this units' credit it does work well with the Pyle headphones and it is easy for children to use. I take special care to make sure that the DVD's we carry in the car are cleaned often every week with the car being cleaned so that his mother can drive in uninterrupted and undistracted peace and to ensure that there isn't any skipping. So after about three weeks of working properly the unit decided that it couldn't read a disc anymore. Keep inmind that this car is garagekept and the operating temperatures that it was exposed to were not anything horrible most everywhere the car is taken it is under some sort of shelter and not exposed to damaging humidity or extremes of heat or cold. I tried a plethora of discs including some that were brandnew out of the box and even doublechecked the discs in our finicky 12 yearold spare DVD player and they too worked flawlessly.The final straw came when I reached out to Pyle directly after the exchange timeframe was exhausted with Amazon where I was onhold for about 15 minutes before reaching a rather gruff customer service agent in the Bronx. He informed me that shipping costs bothways would be on me along with the need for a $15 money order and the turnaround time might be as much as six weeks.
    Great deal!!! Dvd player and monitor works great easy installation compatible cover and color fits ok.
    Piece of JUNK!! Purchased this dvd player for my daughter to watch movies while in the car. First I had it professionally installed only to find out that the screen would not illuminate. The image barely showed up. I contacted PYLE for warranty repairs. I had to pay to ship the thing out and pay $15 to have it shipped back. I said okay no biggie at least then it will be fixed.I got it back plugged it up and everything worked.for now. Started driving down the road unit began to skip and then stopped reading the DVD's all together. I won't bother sending it back don't want to throw away another $25. Why spend good money after bad.
    Easy to install and good quality!! Great DVD headrest have one in both cars and just hooked up a pair for a friend!!!!! Easy to link as a pair so each child can watch their own disk or the same disc from either side.
    Somewhere between great and horrible We bought this to entertain the 3 year old on longish trips something it took us a while to give into. It has a laundry list of cool features at a pretty low price. You can read as well as I did in the product description all it claims to do. I will list below the real world realitiesI was smitten with the idea of a 1632gb card full of movies that I wouldn't have to be reaching back and changing all the time. Fill it up but don't ever turn off the car every time the unit turns off and on the SD/USB card input will reload from the beginning..or wire the unit to a constant on with a toggle switch and pray you don't forget it and drain the battery.The screen/dvd door is a bit delicate don't let the 3year old touch it or it will be pulled too far out and not want to work properly unless it's set just right forevermore.There are some movie functions say a disc asks you english or spanish during autoload are only accessible from the remote there is no onunit way to navigate questions such as these.You must be particular what format .avi seems to work you put on burned discs or cards some will refuse to play regardless what you do.
    Great Product! I was looking for a DVD player for a long car ride10 hours/1 way with 13 kids aged 48. One rode with me on the way to and three rode with me on the way back. After reading SEVERAL reviews and comparing prices I chose the PYLE PLD72BK. I have nothing but high praise to date! I also purchased a second monitor by PYLEand had both installed by a very good car accesories shop.
    Great Product Like others here I did an extensive search for a headrest DVD player & finally settled on this. I was not disappointed. The installation was very straight forward & anyone who has wired up anything in a car before will not have any trouble.Another plus was the black leather of the unit matched the interior of my 2011 Ford Expedition EL Limited perfectly.I highly recommend getting a pair of IR headphones to go with this DVD player.
    Headrest DVD I would give this a 4 out of 5 stars if the DVD player PLAYED EVERY DVD INSERTEDbut it doesn't. I tried adjusting the ratings window GPGRAdult but even that didn't work. I transferred movies to a flash drive and that DID work. I called customer service but that was uselesseven after 20 minutes. I also made sure I was playing NONBLUE RAY and WIDESCREEN but that wasn't a factor. The instructions were translated by someone who was English as a second languageand a lot of the instruction didn't make sense relative to installation in the manual.When installing and running wires try to unzip the factory seat cover because that makes a world of difference and install wires that way. You'll probably need some 1418 gauge wire in black and red as well as electrical tape and crimp connectors or wire nuts to make a clean install to your fuse box.The game that was included is a waste of time don't bother trying it. Be sure to close the headrest vinyl cover when you leave the vehicle to keep curious eyes at bay. The remote control is way too busy but it works fine.This Headrest did make a world of difference on a 1400 mile road trip with my 15 month old. In that respect I would strongly recommend it. In hind sight for myself I probably should have looked for a more recognizable brand in hopes of guaranteeing my success with playing DVD's.

    • NO INSTRUCTIONS. CD won't play. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE INSTRUCTIONS???I put itunes music on it and it didn't play. Don't know how to put stuff on there in RW format and listen to it. The CDRW doesn't play in this CDRW player. If I had instructions maybe I can use it. Who sells an item without instrucitons or a warranty? Bad customer service.
    Didn't Work The custemer had to pack it make a trip to the post office pay pay pay to ship it back. Great inconvenience.
    Remarkably unintuitive I bought this for my kids to use and they like it. They only play CDs they know how to work it they like that it's not heavy. However it is remarkably unintuitive. The first time we used it the songs were repeating and I had to read the directions to figure out how to get it off this setting. The buttons that control the CD player are arranged around the CD area but also on the front of the player. The buttons that control the tape player are next to where the CDs are inserted. A very illogical arrangement and a disappointment. I shouldn't have to study the buttons before I can get my music going.Because this is for the kids its appearance doesn't bother me but I'd be disappointed if I bought it for myself.
    great little player I bought this cd player for my grandson and one for myself.It's got a nice sound to it reasonably pricehas a remote and is very portable.Nice looking little player.
    Very disappointed I purchased this unit for Christmas of 08 for my daughter of 14. Just 4 months later with as little as 3 hours of use the CD player stopped reading the disc. I subsequently read reviews of this unit and found several other people experienced the same problem. A call to customer service was disappointing. Not worth fixing and out of the 90 day warranty buy a new one. Other than not reading the disc the display was impossible to read without lifting the unit to a 45degree angle. Emerson could care less about customer satisfaction. If it was my company and I sold hundred of thousands of these units I would replace a defective one at a nominal cost to the customer.
    Not Refurbished as Advertised I bought this unit as a Factory Refurbished item. This was a lie this unit was used..but not Factory Refurbished as advertised. It was purchased as an Xmas present and arrived too close to Xmas to return it or I would have. My GF loves the radio and it plays well..all the features work..but I have NO warrenty as advertised so with this seller ..
    CD feature can't take the heat I bought 5 of these for my childcare center in April. The CD players in 2 are broken in June. skipping not reading etc. 2 months of use even continuous use is not durable enough for the price.
    XBass..love it! real good sound.works great.. I like it so much that I'm ordering two more for gifts.
    SEEMED LIKE A GOOD IDEA AT THE TIME I really wanted another BOSE but just didn't want to shell out the big bux. I read many reviews & decided on this one. I liked the fact that it has a little remote. That said I just don't use this player. I find the buttons small & counterintuitive.The sound is another minus. Maybe its OK for a kid's room but it does not compare with the rich sound of the bose. I really want the one with the disk changer but I've read neg comments about the changer being too loud for a bedroom at night.My kid says to get an ipod thingy which will hold about a million CD's but I'm an old dog & don't like new tricks. Maybe when I conquer the new cell phone I'll think about the ipod.
    Unsatisfied customer I ordered this radio and was very disappointed. The outlet store that shipped it did not send it well. The box was torn some parts were in a ziploc bag.The cover of the cassette player was not attached and I could not get it on. The CD player did not work.I returned the item and still have not seen a credit to my account.If you can help please let me know.Again I was not satisfied.

    • Pioneer AVHp3300 I received this product earlier than expected during the holidays. It took me awhile before I was to install it. Once we were to install it we found out that it did not recognize any disk Cd or DVD. I was worried I was stuck with a piece of useless equipment. I contacted the seller who immediately sent me a return label. I boxed it up and returned it. As soon as the seller received their product I received a refund within one business day. It would have been a great product if it had worked. Five stars for the service from the seller.
    No Issues My wife purchased this receiver for me as a Christmas present. So far I have had no problems with it. I use the bluetooth feature often so I can talk hands free. I also like plugging my ipod into the usb slot for my music. It does not bother me that when using the cable that originaly came with your ipod you have to control your ipod from the actual receiver and not the ipod itself. Movies look good as well as pictures. I have been happy with it.

    Great System! I just had this system installed yesterday and love it!The improvement in sound is very noticeable even with AM stations.The screen is clear and crisp and the unit is userfriendly.I recently replaced the four stock speakers in my 2004 Ford Explorer with Pioneer TSD6802R speakers which was a great improvement but the clarity and richness of sound was noticably improved with the addition of this unit Pioneer AVHP3300BT 5.
    Wow My friends are jealous I installed the Pioneer AVHP3300BT in my 2005 Hyundai Sonata. I love all of the features and the expandability for the future. Don't plan on putting in a backup camera but hey It's nice to have the option. Installation was not too bad. I did my homework for the Sonata install ahead of time by researching online other users trials and tribulations. The unit looks like it was made for my car. It fit perfectly.I connected a bypass relay for the ability to have video play while out of parking gear.
    Awesome I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend for his F350 and its sooo awesome. I love how you can customize the color using any color you prefer. of course i like pink but that doesn't work for a guys truck. . I recommend this item.
    Great for the Money I love this deck for the price you can NOT beat it. I have tried Sony Alpine Clarion JVC and many others Pioneer ALWAYS delivers. I have put many of their decks in my vehicles and have never been disappointed. This deck is perfect for someone who wants a lot of potential for not a lot of money. This unit allows a person to upgrade as they go instead of putting up a small fortune up front. I love the interface and the sound is great pioneer quality I replaced a Clarion. Would seriously recommend to anyone who wants a quality unit but is short on big $. You don't need the expensive cable just use your standard IPOD cable for Pandora or IPOD apps. BUT! For sure purchase the DVD bypass relay! I have not done so but I will be shortly. I know it is a valid safety hazard but if you have kids this is a must on long trips just use common sense and install the relay.The bluetooth is great I hate the fact that you cannot stream audio through BT though I think that is kind of a shortcoming from Pioneer I have a $130 64BT from walmart that streams audio what gives? That is my only gripe thoughThe interface is easy enough to wade through a little overwhelming at first but very user friendly once you get used to it with the manual. Colors are great even though that is a useless feature to me. installation was a breeze install manual is online just google it and it pops right up.
    A+ Great head unit. Touch screen controls are easy to navigate through. iPod controls work well also. I like the black screen mode for night driving only the manual buttons are backlit. I have my iPod and an SD card connected and it's very easy to switch from one source to another to find a song you're looking for. Decent choice of backlight/wallpaper selection also.
    All hat no cattle I ended up looking at this unit in a store because the other unit was unavailable for testing. Like others here I have no interest in buying an expensive audio playback device aka iPod / iPhone in order to get an expensive Pioneer audio playback device to play back music. I'm happy to buy an external audio STORAGE device like a flash drive or SD card but if I'm paying more than $80 for a head unit then it better be a standalone device because being a lazy iPod/iPhone passthrough device is unacceptable. Unfortunately my test of the device showed that it was basically designed to be a lazy passthrough device when it comes to music.
