great product The programming was very easy all automatic steering controls still work well 6 months later in 2007 silverado using a new aftermarket pioneer radio. Took some time to install but worth it. I would recommend soldering the connections vs. using crimping for a more reliable connection.
Works great on my 06 Tacoma Got the item today and hooked it up within 10 mins. Bought the wiring harness part# METRA 708114 along with the metra axxess ASWC. The harness makes the install alot easier and you won't have to splice into your vehicle's harness. Plug n play only thing you have to connect is red wire and black wire to your headunit and the 3.5mm. I have this setup with a Pioneer 2400bt HU. I have had an aftermarket HU before this for 5 years and never bought the steering wheel control adpater till I got my Pioneer. I sure do miss the controls on the steering wheel.This unit has no lag whatsoever in my setup. Instant control and programming was automatic. Took about a min to program. I sure do miss the steering wheel control. Finally the buttons are alive again. I also cut the rca plugs that came with the harness it saves space and is not needed for my Pioneer HU.
great buy This is a great unit. I installed it in a 2005 Nissan titan and it worked great. The directions were easy to fallow the online help was even better. pretty much all the controls work my truck has volume mode and power power up and down. everything work accept the power button but that is not a big deal for me. Programing the unit was pretty easy however it did take me a few times to get it to program but after it did it worked great. I would definitely recommend this unit to someone else.
Best Steering Wheeel Interface I've Used Made In USA!! if that matters to you it certainly matters to me.Install was a breeze be sure and check axxessinterface.com for your vehicle specific wiring. I connected the 4 wires required for my install and powered it up. It took about 3060 seconds to automatically ID my car and head unit then everything worked as expected. If it doesn't work with your car or head unit you can download and with USB flash updates to take care of that.

Need 3.5 Jack This requires upscale stereo unit to work. Inexpensive radio like Pyle and other brands do not have 3.5 female jack for this unit to plug in. It does include a 3.5 female jack but that is for Kenwood JVC or Eclipse. Not for other brands. I'm returning it for refund.
Great option for steering wheel controls. This thing is great but to be honest I had some trouble installing it. I looked up my car and radio to make sure they were compatible first and they were great. Then I hooked up all the wires including my new head unit put it all back together and.blinking. This means that the unit did not find my car. So I called Metra talked to a guy from support and told him what I hooked up and he told me their directions were wrong or more importantly the diagram on their directions were wrong. So after he told me which wires were supposed to be hooked up I redid the wiring put everything back together and..it worked! Perfect and smooth installation after that all controls work and all functions work on the head unit. So because of the mix up I took a star off.

Looks intimidating but super easy and works the first time I'm experienced in doing my own installs but had never done SWC before. The product and manuals appeared intimidating but I just followed the instructions and the thing was working before I knew I had done anything. My vehicle only required three wires be connected plus the 3.5mm jack to the back of my head unit. Because of auto detect there was no programming it just started working. I like that you can remap buttons if you want to but I didn't utilize that feature. My recommendation if you remap just take a breath and follow the instructions.I am very satisfied with this product.

Great product but low sound The product is great for my 3 year old. The picture is great but the sound is low and I wish it played different movies on the two screens for when her stepbrother joins us for the summer and holidays.
Very good product
Works Good Put a large SD card in there and was able to fit a lot of media for the kids to watch on vacations. Takes a little effort to hook the screens up on the head rests but once things are in place it works well. I'm pretty happy with the value since it comes with two screens.
Great Deal.. This item was purchased for an upcoming Disney World trip even though we have not tested it on the road we did manage to hook everything up and give it a trial run and we have been pleased so far with the picture quality and all the accessories that come with this dvd player. Reliability issue I bought this product in Dec 2011. Within 4 monthwarranty 90days only The screen went fuzzy. Sylvania will do nothing for you. However Amazon awesome service ship me a new one with no problem. Let see how long this unit will last. Reading online lots of people have this issue too.
Was a life saver for our first car trip! We took our first road trip from MN to CO with a 1 1/2 and a 3 1/2 year old. My husband loaded up the SD card with several kid videos and home movies. The kids loved it and our trip was great! We only had to change the CD once or twice since there was so much loaded up on the SD card. The remote control was really convenient as well although sometimes we had to push the button several times to get it to work from the front seat pointing it back over our heads. I think it probably is designed for the kids to work it. We rated it 4 out of 5 since it was great for the price we paid and not being a high end one.
AWESOME CONCEPT Poor quality Purchased for a recent trip to FL. Worked great on the way down kids even asked why we bothered with dvds since the SD card worked so well. Easy for them to pick and choose their content with ease. Used a little wallet to hold sd cards and they were set.Until it failed. Only used for less than 15 hours and then the main screen failed. Not too much longer and the remote screen then became too dark to use.Really too bad. The card was great price was good and let me get rid of a bunch of space wasting and easily damaged dvds.
Great Entertainment at a Great Price Nice video on both screens although the volume on the 2nd monitor is lower than I would like. The best way to use these is to store your movies on an SD Card get at least a Class 6 SD Card. The documentation is very limited and I could not find a list of supported formats but AVI works for me.
Second screen didn't work at all I bought this product because of the convenience price and decent reviews. I did not have a chance to use the second monitor until a month later 3 days after the return policy. Upon reading the instructions and attaching the AV/DC cables to the main device and secondary display nothing worked. And of course the return policy expired 2 days ago. So if you are purchasing this don't wait like I did. Check out the functionality as soon as you get it. Learn from my cautionary tale. Now I'm stuck with an over priced single DVD player that has soso quality.
excellent buy This was a last minute buy for a road trip after our old Dual DVD Player stopped working It's excellent!Don't be fooled by the ones that can play two different DVDs unless your kids are old enough for headphones it won't work out!The only two things I have to criticize is that it needs better straps to hold it to the headrest.

Great Product As I have come to expect Amazon delivered the product well packed and ahead of schedule.I installed the player and everything works perfect. The touch controls are very sensitive but you soon get the hang of it. I guess that's why they call them feather touch controls.The quality of the video is excellent with all the options zoom subtitles etc. like a regular home DVD player. The video out jack is handy if you want to connect another screen.Sound quality and volume are good enough for me but if you want to add extra there are line outs and subwoofer connections.Quality of FM stereo radio reception is good.Only one observation is the detachable faceplate. I have to be much more carefull inserting and removing it than with other systems I have owned.

Looks good and does what it suppose to I'm not bashing this radio it does everything i want it and has a lot of good features and the price is great but i do not like the pre equalizer setting on the radio i put the bass on negative 10 which is all the way down and it still puts out bass to my factory speakers so when i push my 2 15's loud the bass seems distorted and not as clean as my previous radio i'm gonna put my highs on a amp tho and i'll be content.
Everything you need affordable price well built & simple I would definitly like to start off with saying that Power Acoustik electronics seems to be making major strides in providing well built functional products at a any one can have one price. There were many affordable options that I explored but I decided due to being in some certain shady Detroit areas alotIMPORTED FROM DETROIT!!!D that I needed a detachable receiver with usb front 3.5mm jack dvd player w/screen and an affordable price. Well I wanted that and got more for around $100. This thing also surprised me with the additional features I didnt need but why not have D? Has an SD slot 16GB tv tuner 200w max speaker output and many little controls to perfect picture audio woofer and others. You can even hook a game console to it. And 1 model up for around 175 i think you can get bluetooth full touchscreen and navigation. Now i did opt for the simple $100 PTID 3600 model but as you can see you get much more. Now I did notice that the sensitized touch controls on the unit doesn't respond to well and i think hear some distortion at high volumes i have high quality speakers and got everything professionally installed but as long as you keep it at a reasonable volume sounds amazing really does but nothing a high quality class d 4 channel amp couldn't fix. Puts out plenty of speaker power if you do not want to get too crazy or expensive. When you use the jack in on the front even if your device is at high volumeit seems to lower sound quality a little I use a Samsung Moment Droid w/ Pandora. MP3 cd's MP3's on SD & DVD's sound crispy. Also just the design just looks a little BLAH and the background and accents for the screen is just plain while its on. But thats kinda what i paid for functional with quality. And I do believe thats what I got.

Poor Quality a true dissaointment LIke others i too had a problem with this cable getting only audio from the drivers side of my vehicle. I have the 910bt in a 04 navigator and the cable worked fine for about 3 months right when the warranty runs out i begin to have problems. After contacting Pioneer they basically told me too bad replace the cable. So now not only have i paid over $1k for my navigation pioneer doesnt even stand by their product. Its obviously a manufacturer defect.
iPod connection
do not buy this cable only lasts for 6 months 90 day warranty This cable somewhat worked for 6 months and then one set of speakers stopped working when ipod was connected. I also found issues that my iphone wouldn't charge but others would. Called pioneer they would not replace it. Bought an apple composite cable connected it the same way as the pioneer cable and now it works perfectly. Don't buy this just go to apple.com and get the apple av composite cable.
Did not work at all I tried this product with two different iPod Touches and one iPad 2 on both a projector and a TV. This product did not work at all.
Worked alright for a while I installed this cable about 8 months ago and could not have been happier. Occasionally the connection would fail but it was nothing reconnecting the iPhone couldn't solve. Sound quality was fine. No complaints. About a month ago however I began experiencing strange failures. Either the passengerside speakers/sub in my 370z wouldn't work at all with sound only coming through the driver's side. Occasionally the connection would come through full of static extremely muted or fuzzy. These symptoms became permanent yesterday.For a $50.00 cable less than a year of use before failure is utterly unacceptable. Now I have to go through the hassle of taking my headunit out to install another cable. I'm going to try the Apple version assuming it will work rather than this shoddy knockoff.
Not the best option This cable worked for about a month and then the right side speakers kept cutting in and out. We tested the head unit the speakers then replaced the cable with our ipod Griffin cable of same design we had at home for less money. Griffin cable worked beautifully and charges not only the ipod but also the ipad in the truck. Pioneer cable would not charge ipad.
It works Not much to say it's a cable and it works. It would have been nice if the USB portion of it were longer but that's a manufacturing issue not the seller's. The seller was excellent sent it on time and it was well packaged.
Pioneer CDIU230 Although this is a refurbished item I do not have any problems with it at all. I used this to connect my Ipod classic 1st generation to the Pioneer X910BT. I do not disconnect them a lot and the Ipod is always connected. The sound quality and the video quality seems alright.
Spotty Performance I found this cable only transmitting on one channel at times. I thought it was just the cable so I bought a replacement and it was the exact same. Not a problem if you only want to hear your iPod out of your right speakers.
