play on hey it was so cheap i had to give it ago i play tunes through it watch movies what everyea so no skips on the dvd absolutley amazed by this since several others i tried were complete trash i finally got it right.
lemons to lemonade! At first i was completely ready to return the product. I spent a long time trying to figure out the wiring and get the device to even work. By my own admission i really didn't look at the installation instructions thought i could wing it obviously not the case. I called a friend who assisted in running down the problem which ended up simply being a loose ground cable.
Junk! This DVD player worked great for a while about a year. Now it switches itself off and and won't play anything anymore. I wouldn't recommend this DVD player at all.
Works fine really good bargain. June 2011. I bought this Pyle Overhead DVD player in June 2011. It looks great and has plenty of good features.Reasons I chose this player Very cheap especially for a higherresolution screen of 12! Comparable units at BestBuy or Crutchfield are four hundred+ bucks and most have a pretty wimpy screen resolution of 234 lines.
disgusted I am so disgusted with my portable dvd player for in the car. I cannot believe it is even legal to sell somebody something that is so poorly put together stuff broken off of it buttons not on right light pushed in too far scratches all over the product something broken off of the top an instruction manual that has mispelled words and improper grammer says to look at a diagram that is not there and does not even come with all the pieces. I have liked everything I have gotten from Amazon until now. WOW.
Please don't go here! I looked I shopped I read reviews I took a risk and learned the hard way what a Pyle this is. Incredibly cheap construction unit would barely open and close and then wouldn't work. Kudos to Amazon for their returns but they should really drop this item to save their customers time effort and money. One star because I can't give it zero.
Roof mount LCD What a crystal clear picture. This LCD is the one to buy. We installed it in our conversion van the instructions were easy to comprehend and we have been nothing but pleased with the performance.
Disappointed Sadly our Pyle Mointer/DVD player barely lasted a year before the DVD player portion of the the unit failed to play DVD's. It now just spins them and never plays. We have tried several DVD's and a few of them have gotten scratched in the process. Will try a new brand.
Do not buy as it is poorly made and the customer service is terrible. We bought the Pyle DVD player about a year ago and had it professional installed. After 6 months the DVD Player stopped working. We just got a blue screen and the DVD would not eject. Returned it to the reseller Sound Around Electronics which cost me $45 and another $15 for them to send it back after they replaced the power cored. Put the DVD player back in and it worked for one day. We are now experiencing the same problem. I have sent 5 emails and left 4 voicemails to the reseller before having to call again and wait 15 minutes for a manager. They are unsympathetic and unprofessional.The remote controll and buttons are cheaply made. This is not built to last.
