  • On/off switch
  • Adds an auxiliary minijack and RCA inputs to your system
  • Includes 3.5mm stereo cable for your MP3 player
  • FM modulator plays any source through your car's FM receiver
  • Two modulation frequencies (87.9, 88.3)

  • Absolutely pathetic This product cost hours of time to install and it was all wasted. The music played through it was faint and the feed back was loud. If I were to rate the quality of the sound on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it a .5. I bought one of these years ago and it was awesome but I noticed on this one that the wires were extremely thin which I'm sure had a lot to do with it. I tried everything known to man to get this unit working properly but to no avail. I even ran its own power line directly to the battery with a filter but with the same result. I ended up installing a new radio with a Jack for connecting Ipods and other players.
Average It does what it says it's a modulatorbut not much more. You have I think five different channels you can set it to and unless you are cruising down the road at 55MPH+ you'll hear all kinds of static and car noise. It's a basic unit for hearing something on your digital device but it's not clear like the higher end ones are. You get what you pay for. I'm happy with it but I didn't expect perfection at this price.
Too cheap to buy new radio The first modulator did not work as one channel was not functioning. Scosche and Amazon sent a new one which works just fine. I have now used it nearly a year with no problems and the fidelity is good.
Works ok not the best I was a little disappointed with this unit it works as advertised better than a non hard wired fm radio input but this unit has some issues it's not that much better as it has some noise problems and screeches when inbetween songs so when the input is low the radio stations creep in or somthing. All this to say you have to fiddle with it to make it sound good but you can get there and it works pretty well at least you don't have interruptions like with the non wired fm transmitters. But if I did it again I think I would just get a new radio and be done with it. As you have to do the same amount of work taking everything out to install this. So it wouldn't be much more.
03 tahoe with bose now has an aux in Needed to hook up an mp3 player to my factory bose 6 cd changer and this was the perfect device for it. I also needed to buy a couple adapters for my gm antenna tho.
Its a gamble It works okay I had to get a ground loop it sounded a little better it's a gamble but sounds better then the fm.
Pleased Pleased and surprised to find that the supplied antenna connectors were a perfect fit for the factory radio Becker in my 22yearold Mercedes. The whole point of this install was to keep the original radio and avoid any visible mods This may be the key issue for some buyers. The wires were long enough that I was able to put the modulator under the console which allowed me to put the switched input inside the covered storage box under the armrest where it can't be seen but is easy to get at a distance of about three feet. And yes it works very well with my iPod except when I am in a major intersection with many lights and buried traffic sensors.
best way to add an audio input I got this for Christmas and recently installed in my 04 Altima. My car has a factory stereo with a 6 CD changer and Bose speakers. I wanted to add and audio input jack for my iPod but I did not want to replace my stereo with an aftermarket unit. This item is the perfect solution. It is a powered FM modulator that injects the audio signal directly into the radio's antenna jack while cutting out all other air wave signals. It works remarkably well. Like any other FM modulator you must tune your radio to a frequency that is generally not being used. You need to be able to get to the back of your car stereo. I found some simple removal instruction on the web just be googling what I was looking for. Then you remove the antenna cable from the radio and plug it into the Scoche box. This unit has a male cable that plugs back into the radio.
did not work well hooked up to my volvo work truck. 2 axle semi.very fuzzy and audio very weak. easy hook up wish it worked so i didnt have to mess with putting in a different system.
Better than expected I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews of static and such. This thing sounds better in my wifes 04 Murano than the factory installed input in my 04 Titan. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that the install is not that easy at least not on the Murano.Once installed and you connect your iPod/iPhone this sounds as good as any radio station way louder than the Aux input in my Titan.Well worth it even for the people who aren't going to be able to install it on their own. Just make sure they properly land the ground wire to chassis ground to cut out static. Then crank up the volume on your iPod and use the vehicle volume.
